Yoga for a Healthy Back
Yoga practice has been used for thousands of years to promote healthy living. For back problems, yoga serves not only for healing injuries, but also, for preventing them. Known benefits include relieving pain, increasing strength, flexibility and endurance, and teaching relaxation.
Those who are not inherently flexible are often the ones that actually benefit the most from yoga. Also, most yoga poses can be modified for beginners, allowing everyone to participate in a version of the poses.
Join our community in this 60-minute workshop, where we will explore yoga's ancient knowledge and techniques to promote a healthy back, including learning how to have a safe practice.
Note that this will be an interactive presentation workshop, instead of a yoga practice.
