Yoga & Rock Climbing
Join us for a fun and safe rock climbing experience, as we combine the strength, balance, and breath of your yoga practice with the art of rock climbing. This workshop is accessible to beginners as well as advanced yoga practitioners alike.
Our workshop will begin at the studio with a deep yoga practice at 1:00 pm to warm up the body, open up the muscles, and expand the breath as preparation for our rock climbing adventure.
Upon arrival to the facility you will be taught the essential skills needed to climb an indoor rock wall: how to properly put on a harness, tie into the rope and belay for a partner. In our practical introduction to the art of climbing, you’ll climb with a partner, you’ll learn how to best contact the climbing wall, what all the tape, numbers and terms mean. And in addition we’ll teach you the safe way to use our bouldering (you’ll learn what this means too!).
We will have exclusive use of the climbing areas with all the proper equipment and staff on hand. Please bring comfortable, loose fitting clothing so you may have full mobility when climbing. Spaces are limited and reservations fill up fast. So join us for a unique experience as you apply your yoga practice safely, 40 feet higher than usual.
