Director of Programming
The Director of Programming serves at the heart of our growing yoga community and supports a safe, nurturing and healing environment in a wide array of responsibilities related to successful operation of a community centered, eco-friendly venture. The Director of Programming will perform, coordinate and oversee technical and studio administrative duties in support of the Studio Manager, including the provision of varied and complex tasks and may supervise clerical and other administrative staff.

The position includes:
- Manage online marketing venues such as list servers, blogs and virtual groups.
- Coordinate website maintenance with event updates, graphic and creative material.
- Oversee website optimization for search engines and link interfacing with other companies.
- Manage internet advertisements and marketing opportunities, pay-by-click campaigns.
- Building and maintaining online community, including customer testimonials and online reviews.
- Conducting research and inventory of internet based ad postings and campaigns.
- Support the Studio Manager with auditing, memberships, payroll, other accounting related duties.
- Oversee technical equipment and related tasks that keep the business running smoothly.
- Supporting the publication of a quarterly Studio Serenity newsletter in print and online.
- Supervising and managing complex database entry from multiple sources.
Compensation:
- Benefits: Unlimited monthly yoga passes, 20% discount on workshops/events, boutique merchandise and retreats. Company paid retreat after one year. Eligible for 50% tuition waiver on selected trainings.
- Hours: 4-8 floating hours per week (flexible hours for weekdays, weekends and nights) to meet with your team. Performance based option to 20 or 40 hr position.
- Payment: Hourly rate commensurate to relevant experience with potential for performance-based increase after 3 months and option to transition with annual salary (full time only).
- Health Insurance: Company paid Medical Insurance with PPO if continually working over 20 hrs/wk.
Pre-requisites
- Must be certified with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level.
- Min. 5 years yoga teaching experience.
- Teaches regular weekly classes at Studio Serenity for 6 months.
- Completion of one of Studio Serenity's Teacher Training programs.
