Yoga Essentials

Studio Serenity's Yoga Essentials is designed specifically for those who are completely new to yoga.  Each session is a 90 min yoga workshop about the fundamentals of a strong and safe yoga practice. The course offers an in depth introduction and exploration of the fundamentals of vinyasa (flow) yoga, including healthy alignment, deep breathing, strength, flexibility, and relaxation.

We will take you through the fundamentals of meditation, breathing, and setting an intention as you learn how to center your yoga practice.  Explore the full yoga practice as we safely guide you through basic beginner stretches, sun salutations, standing poses, balancing poses, seated poses, and relaxation techniques.

Learn about your body and discover the benefits that can come from practicing yoga such as increased strength and flexibility, cardiovascular and digestive health, a calmer mind, and a greater sense of well-being. 

Yoga Essentials are for those who are just starting to learn and practice yoga, as well as anyone who wants to understand the basics of vinyasa yoga practice.  This is a wonderful opportunity to answer many of the questions you may have about yoga, as well as receive more personal one-on-one attention to personalize and strengthen your practice.
