Listening to Your Body

As the universe within and without speaks us, we all have the opportunity is to listen, hear and be guided.

Your best friend in life is your body, which reflects back to you without judgment or hesitation.  Your body controls the quality of your thoughts, emotions, feelings and reactions, as well as the influences of your environment.

.

Join us for an informative presentation on health, healing and human possibility as we explore and answer questions that teach us how are body speaks to us on a daily basis.

Questions:

What kind of information does the body convey? How is this information communicated?  Why does the body work this way?  What is the significance of symptoms, illness and disease?  What is the significance of the body’s nature as a mirror for our souls?  What is the relevance of this information in our life journey?  How exactly do we “read” this information?  And how do we translate this information into practical guidance in our daily lives?  Where does Spirit fit in to all of this?

* Yogis and non-yogis are all invited to this highly valuable and educational learning experience.

About the Speaker

Kourosh Kashani has directly experienced the practices and teachings of the major spiritual traditions of the world. He has a profound respect for the expression of Truth through Its many Faces, as well as an understanding of the fundamentals of the spiritual journey common to all of these traditions.

As a result, he is able to translate spiritual ideals and philosophy into the practical details of spiritual work to help seekers make the leap from good ideas and intentions to authentic transformation, even within their own chosen tradition.

Many of his insights have been gleaned through his work as a healer.  He was very fortunate to receive hands-on training in holistic healing at an early age, and has spent the last fifteen years in an intensive study of the healing arts as a participant, a practitioner and a teacher. He practices various healing modalities including Classical Acupuncture, Craniosacral Touch, Reiki, and teaches meditation, yoga, qi gong and internal martial arts. He is National Board Certified in Acupuncture and Therapeutic Bodywork, and founder of the Circle of One, a non-profit 501c3 holistic healing center located in Alexandria, Virginia.
